Coach Corbett's Classroom Rules


1.  Mutual respect with teachers, other students, substitutes, and visitors.
        A.  No Horseplay   
        B.  No Profanity
        C.  Respect Facilities and equipment
2.  Be courteous and listen when others are speaking.
3.  Honesty is always the best policy!
        A.  Cheating is dishonest, dishonorable and will not be tolerated.  All parties caught doing so will receive a failing grade for the assignment or test
4.  Make up work is your responsibility!!
        A.  Per district policy
        B.  ***If you fail to meet due date for make-up work please refer to "grading policy for late/incomplete work"
        C.  Lack of backing up work is not an excuse for being late
5.  No food or drinks in the classroom.  The only exception is bottled water unless the privilege is abused.
6.  No  use of cell phones, headphones, ipods, or other electronics in classroom unless directed by teacher (for instructional purposes)


CONSEQUENCES
1.  Warning - Verbal Warning
2.  Second Warning - Call to Parents
3.  Third Warning - Conference with Parent, Student, Administrator
4.  Fourth Warning - Send to Assistant Principal's Office

REWARDS
1.  Praise note or positive phone call to parents
2.  Verbal and/or written personal praise and continued encouragement

SEVERE CLAUSE
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR INCLUDES FIGHTING, USING ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, DAMAGING SCHOOL PROPERTY, DEFYING ANY TEACHER OR SUBSTITUTE, OR ANY OTHER DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR.  THE OFFENDING STUDENT WILL BE SENT IMMEDIATELY TO THE ASSISTANT PRICIPA'LS OFFICE.
